Netflix Removes Meghan Markles Scenes and Voices from Invictus Trailer Amid Veteran Boycott Backlash

The  long-awaited  documentary  'Heart  of  Invictus',   directed  by Prince Harry, is gearing up for  release on August 30th. However, Netflix's  response   to   the   release  of the trailer  raised eyebrows  from   die-hard  fans.  First,  the streaming giant  released   an  official  trailer,  but  quickly  deleted it,  confusing   fans.   A   few   hours  later, the trailer  reappeared,  but the sudden removal  raised  questions.

An  insider  source revealed that the  trailer   was   hastily   removed   after   the   last   few   words  of  Meghan Markle's  voice.   The   recording   infuriated  veterans and viewers,  and   was   quickly   flooded   with  negative  comments.  Discussions  about   Meghan   Markle's  participation in the  document   are  already  widespread.   According   to   reports,  Meghan was  left   out   of  the Invictus Games footage as the focus shifted entirely to  athletes.

Meghan's  prominent  presence at the Invictus Games  has   drawn   criticism   in   the   past.  Her  presence  in April 2022 turned the event into  an   in-person  fashion  show,   distracting  attention from the athletes'  performances.   Therefore,  the decision to exclude her from the  documentary's  trailer was  received   favorably  by many.

Audience  reactions to the newly released trailer  are  mixed. Some praised  Meghan's   absence,  seeing it as a respectful move  to   highlight  the athletes and their stories.  In   contrast,   some   segments   felt  the omission  was  disrespectful to  Meghan and the event itself.

As   of   now,  the trailer has  earned   her  over  1.1,000  likes and  over   1.4,000  dislikes on  her  YouTube  page   on   Netflix.   The  new  trailer   puts  Prince Harry  in  the  lead   role,   highlighting   the   game's  focus on  the  recovery  of   wounded   servicemen  and  their  reintegration  into   the   community.  His interactions with competitors in The Hague provide  insight  into the  content   of   the   documentary.

Prince  Harry and Meghan  Markle's   Netflix   journey  has  seen  both successes and setbacks.  Her   first  Netflix project  gained  attention, but  later   projects   such   as  the Spotify podcast faced challenges. The removal of Meghan's podcast from  Spotify   and  the controversial Invictus Games  scandal  have drawn criticism and  hurt   Meghan's  public image.  Chanel, Lanvin,  Givenchy  and Hermès  have   all   rejected  Meghan Markle's  marketing   partnerships,   citing   counterfeit   goods.  Reports have surfaced  that  major  luxury fashion  brands   such   as  Chanel, Lanvin,  Givenchy  and  Hermès  have  decided  to distance themselves from Meghan Markle in  all  marketing  departments.

The  decision comes after Meghan was recently spotted  wearing  outfits that  appear  to mimic  her  signature  style,  albeit with noticeable differences. As previously  mentioned,  Meghan  organized   her   walk   last   week   to   garner  attention and  snaps.

During this  no-makeup  outing, the Duchess of Sussex  wore  a variety of outfits from different brands,  despite   California's   particularly   warm   weather.  Her ensemble included a  Max   Mara  Respighi coat,  Hermès   show,   Nucomb  Biosignal Processing Disc  dark   blue  Chanel shoes, London  earrings  and  Givenchy belt.

Despite  the  public  display   of   these   luxury   brands,  sources close to these luxury brands have  strongly  denied any association or endorsement. It seems that Meghan's fashion choices,  especially  the  similarities   with   those  brands' designs,  have   caused   quite   a   stir   in  the industry. Some insiders  have   argued  that Meghan's approach to clothing reflects  her  desire for "quiet  luxury"   while   also   trying  to  combine  pieces  from   different   designers.   Critics,   however,  argue that the combination lacks harmony and  credibility.   The  incident follows  Duchess  Meghan's  use  of affiliate marketing tactics as part of her  income   generation  strategy.  But  her  decision  to wear  blatant  knockoffs of  name-brand   products   has   raised  questions about the  effectiveness  of her approach. Experts  have   speculated  that she may be  trying  to  create  the illusion of  multiple luxury  brand   collaborations  after Dior and Cartier reportedly  turned   down   their  official partnership.

Chanel, Lanvin,  Givenchy  and Hermès have  avoided   pushing  Meghan as the face of their  own  marketing campaigns, opting to  stay   away   from  her  latest  fashion endeavors.
