Brewed specially by Little Big Brew Company, the golden ale had a hint of caramel and floral bouquet. As Charles savored his first sip, he remarked mischievously to onlooking media "I'd better not indulge too much." But then came the comic seven-word comment that left reporters longing for a taste: "I bet they're all dying for some."

Head brewer Daniel O'Brien explained the beer was made predominantly with British hops for its bright hue. It had become hugely popular, with fellow brewery member Simon Dearo declaring sales had "gone gangbusters." Though cautioning over early indulgence, the King appeared genuinely pleased with the libation's delightful aroma.

Next, Queen Camilla received a surprise when Jersey Dairy's Dave Dale presented her with a lovely piece of vintage cheddar cheese. With a playful smile, he called it an early birthday gift as Her Majesty's 77th birthday falls the next day. The crowd warmly joined in the well-wishes for Camilla, who graciously replied "Thank you, sometimes it's best to forget them."

As their walk continued, Charles and Camilla met Barry Answorth celebrating his 80th birthday that very day. Ever gracious, the King expressed hopes Barry was being well looked after and urged him to enjoy the joyous occasion. Earlier, fans were relieved when Camilla emerged with an ankle bandage merely from a sprain sustained during Monday's activities in the terrible downpour.
